Here is a video of one of our recent orders for export. The door curtains are securely packaged with two layers of protection and the shipment was organized to protect all the cargo on it’s way to the freight forwarder. Our company is experienced in rehearsing these shipments, if you need advice or have any questions just give us a call or send us an e-mail at mail@rolling-door.com
This week we completed an order for one of our partners in the Caribbean market. The order consisted of 20 Storm Proof roll up doors with chain hoist operation. The client chose to pick up the doors without a wooden crate in order to consolidate them with other items he was shipping.
A flatbed trailer was provided to load up all the doors. Once again, our teams managed to complete the project just in time for the ship date of the freight forwarder. A freight forwarder (sometimes called forwarder only) is a third party logistics provider, they typically arrange cargo movement to an international destination. The forwarder can handle and process the documentation required by the carrier or country of export and import. Our proximity to port of miami and port everglades has turned us into leading exporters, so we can help you find a carrier that will work for you.
We offer a range of options to make shipping to your location as convenient as possible. Options range from factory pickup to our team finding the most suitable shipping company and rehearsing the whole shipment until it arrives at your destination. You can call us or fill the quote form, we will get back to you that same day.

This week we completed the installation of 30 Storm Proof roll up doors in a new retail outlet. We are proud that our teams managed to produce and install the rolling doors within the limited time frame put forward by our client.
The installation of the doors completed an ongoing project of over a year for the developer. It also came right in the middle of hurricane season and on the eve of hurricane “Ike”; a major category 4 hurricane currently approaching eastern Cuba and potentially threatening South Florida.
Here in our line of work we are usually looking for ways to better communicate with the customer. It is rare for us to get any constructive feedback on the quality of service that we offer. That led me to look for ways to better our understanding of the customer to improve our service.
The first thing that came to mind? realizing that some of the things we ask a customer are in a technical language that is not clear to them and it should be.
Here at RDM we can explain topics in very short, instructional videos to clarify things like mounting options or how to measure the opening dimensions, all in order to educate you to make a more informed decision.
I’ll be looking over some of our customer concerns and creating some videos, presentations or ways to address those issues and improve the way we interact with our customer base. Meanwhile you can take a look at our website and give us feedback on how to improve.
